Account and collection information
If you create an account, our authentication provider processes your sign-in details and gives SeekerDex a secure account identifier. SeekerDex stores that identifier with your plan, the cards you add to your collection, quantities, optional purchase prices, dates and conditions. This is used to provide your collection, portfolio totals and access-controlled features.
External services
Clerk provides account authentication, including Google and email sign-in, and manages Pro subscriptions with Stripe as the payment provider. Payment information is processed through those services. Card information and price updates are obtained server-side from identified data providers. Following an external marketplace or source link takes you to that provider, whose own privacy terms then apply.
Cookies and measurement
Authentication requires security and session cookies. We do not set advertising cookies on SeekerDex. We count aggregate page views by day and broad site section to understand usage. These counts do not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, search terms or individual browsing histories. Our eBay links contain an affiliate Campaign ID. When you follow a link, eBay may use cookies or other tracking under its own privacy and cookie policies to attribute qualifying purchases. The hosting service may process standard request information—such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and security logs—to deliver and protect the service.
Account and data deletion
To request deletion of your SeekerDex account and associated personal data, follow our account and data deletion instructions. Removing a social sign-in connection alone does not request deletion of data already stored by SeekerDex.
Marketplace deletion requests
We process verified eBay account-deletion notifications by removing the affected seller’s cached eBay records. We retain a pseudonymous hash of the affected seller identifier only to prevent re-importing their listings. If we cannot safely identify the affected seller, imports pause for review.
Changes to this notice
This notice covers our current account services, aggregate page-view counts and eBay affiliate links. We will update it when the way we use personal information changes.
